Open hours from Monday to Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm and on Sunday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Free entrance.

The Museum is located 3 blocks south and one block east of the Municipal Building in Liberia, it is a part of the Liberia Cultural Center. The building itself is remarkable due to its colonial architectural style and it was built with doors on each corner.

The museum is very important for the culture and traditions of Guanacaste; it shows how life was in the past times. In the museum there are presented a variety of old photographs, other memorabilia and historical equipment which were used by hard-working cowboys. Close to the museum there is also a statue to honor the cowboys.
