Package 1 Paradise adventure (Forest and beach)

 

Day 1  :  Transfer-in from Liberia Airport to Monteverde

At your arrival, after complete the immigration issues, look at the exit of the airport and at the waiting point look the person how is holding a visible placard with your last name.  This driver will gladly assist you with your luggage and transportation to the hotel in Monteverde.

Day 2 : Day at leisure at Monteverde area


MONTEVERDE AREA
Monteverde area is one of the major tourist destinations of Costa Rica, known for its rainforest, with sparkling quetzals and quantities of hummingbirds. Monteverde is a small village founded by North American Quakers in 1951, with its adjacent biological reserve. The Biological Rainforest of Monteverde was established as a wildlife sanctuary in 1972. Its size is of 17.000 hectares.
Also you may have another option to visit, the Biological Rainforest Reserve of Santa Elena founded in 1989. It has more than 2000 species of plants, 400 birds and 100 different mammals.
Both, Monteverde and Santa Elena are towns where people are very peaceful and quiet.

Suggested activities and places to visit: canopy tours, hanging bridges, hiking, visit to the Cheese Factory, Selvatura Walkways, Monteverde Cloud Forest and Santa Elena Biological Rainforest Reserve.

 
Day 3 : Transfer from Monteverde to Arenal by Car-Boat-Car

Overnight at your hotel in Arenal.

CAR BOAT CAR
This transfer takes you from Monteverde to La Fortuna and vice versa. It leaves Monteverde around 8:00 AM and La Fortuna at 8:30 AM, and it lasts for about 2 ½ hours.
The first part of the tour is by land, then, you continue with a relaxing boat trip through the waters of the Arenal Lake. On the other side, a car will be taking you to your destination.
Enjoy this wonderful tour and observe the exotic beauty that hosts this paradisiacal place. Admire the transition of the rain forest to the cloud forest where you will reach an altitude of 3600 feet (1200 meters) above sea level where you can see perhaps the best view of the Monteverde Cloud Forest and the amazing panoramic views of the Arenal Volcano.

TABACON HOT SPRINGS
The Arenal Volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in the Americas. From our observation point, you will feel the ground tremble and see the night sky explode with ash and lava in a natural display of fireworks. Next, we will visit the hot springs of the volcano, where you can relax in the soothing waters and be caressed by the cool night air while observing the stars and the incredible night sky above the volcano. At a convenient time after your arrival, we will treat you to a splendid dinner and at the end of the evening you will be transferred to your hotel in Arenal. Departure time at 03:00pm aprox. Duration 06hrs approximately.

Day 4 : Day at leisure at Arenal Volcano area


Arenal Volcano

This volcano has an almost perfect conical shape and it has been active since 1968. Some days it erupts reddish lava and other days it is more placid.
On the nearby forest you may observe different species of mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians.
This area is surrounded by natural beauty with landscapes that will leave you breathless.

Suggested activities: and places to visit: canopy tours, fishing in the Arenal Lake, hanging bridges, sky tram, hiking, rafting, boat tours, volcano observation and hot springs.

 
Day 5: Transfer from Arenal to Tamarindo Beach and day of leisure in Tamarindo


 
Day 6 :Day at leisure in Tamarindo Beach


Tamarindo Area

Playa Tamarindo, located on the Pacific Coast, has much to offer besides its crystal clear ocean, exquisite nature and stunning sunsets. Tamarindo also has grocery stores, fresh produce and fruit juice stands, an ice factory, a variety of souvenir and clothing shops, an art gallery, medical clinic, pharmacy, hardware store, a full service bank with ATM machine, internet cafes.

Reccommended activities: SCUBA diving, snorkeling trips, beach cruises, water skiing, jet skiing, catamarans, ocean and river kayaking, wind surfing, sailing cruises and horseback riding. Bicycles, beach gear, surfboards, boogie boards and equipment of all types are available for rental from specialty stores.

 
Day 7 : Day at leisure in Tamarindo Beach


 
Day 8 : Transfer from Tamarindo to Liberia Airport
